Wembley Residents can tip their own rubbish using a van at Abbey Road but there are a few rules.
All vans used for business and/or commercial purposes (including cars, MPV’s and the like) must report to the weighbridge on arrival at the site.
These vehicles can only tip between 8am and 3.30pm
Resident must provide two acceptable forms of identification.
1. Current/valid photo ID from a recognised agency (i.e. Passport, UK Photo Card Driving Licence, UK Government ID card or similar)
2. A recent utility bill (no more than four months old and please note that mobile phone bills are not acceptable) or your current council tax bill.
Whatever is produced must show your current home address, the one where the waste you’re bringing comes from.
Please note WLWA’s decision about what forms of ID are suitable is final and if you have any doubt about what may be accepted please call the site on 020 8965 5497 to check before travelling.
Failure to produce suitable ID will result in either your waste not being able to be deposited or a charge being made for the full load.
If you are in any doubt relating to charging or the use of vans or other commercially used vehicles please call the site on 020 8965 5497 for advice before travelling.
